An amazing song from an amazing band. Florence + The Machine is a british indie pop band fronted by the talented singer Florence Welch. This band has produced music since a while ago, but has been recently acquiring more attention after the release of their album Ceremonials, from which songs such as "Shake It Out", "No Light, No Light" and "What The Water Gave Me" have been famous singles. We can say that this band has a really soft, melodic sound and at the same time has a strong, secure voice provided by Florence with very deep meaningfull lyrics.
We highky recomend this band if you want to escape the everyday stress and somehow express your feelings.
The other day, while we were searching on YouTube some videos of Skrillex, we encountered ourselves with this video of this guy who can actually.... BEATBOX "reproduce" DUBSTEP. Yeah, we were somehow freaked out but at the same time really impressed by him. He can reproduce exactly the same effects Skrillex uses in many of his songs with no difficulty and combine them to create a really sick track you'll like to hear over and over again.
Here's the video, and we can assure you it will blow your mind.
So, as we mentioned last week, the music video for Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars premiered February 13. This song will be featured in The Hunger Games movie sountrack. The movie is an adaptation of the novel by Suzanne Collins.
In our opinion, this song actually fits in one specific part of the book, which we won't mention to prevent spoiling the story to some of you guys that might be reading the book. We also think that this song can show us the great lyrical power of Taylor which blends perfectly with the accoustic guitar and drums of the melody as well as her ability to give a distinctive sound to any song she participates in.
So while we wait for the movie premiere we hope you like the song as much as we did, and enjoy the music video.

With great power comes great responsibility....As you may know or should already know, a new Spider-Man movie is going to be presented in theaters, and a game is coming out based on the film. This is done with every superhero movie nowadays. The new Amazing Spider-Man movie, set for release this year, transports Peter Parker back to his teenage years where he becomes obsessed withsolving the mysteries of the past and in doing so comes face to face with a new enemy.
Now, the game picks up at the end of the film. Parker is thrown into an exciting new storyline fighting a variety of villians in a bid to save New York City from devastation. The latest The Amazing Spider-Man The Game trailer to surface the web offers a slightly extended trip to New York City.
Let's see how the game and movie result. We all hope that both turn out pretty decent at least.
Today was a very special day. Why? well it was February 13. Still wondering why? Well for those of you who call yourselfs Swifties, this day is obviously special.
13 is the lucky number, as well as the birthday (December 13) of the sweetest Country/Pop singer and composer Taylor Swift. Taylor has been in our lifes for almost 6 years; thats right 6 years in which she has composed some of the most emotional and heartbreaking but at the same time sweet songs. This girl can also be considered responsible of introducing a new generation of teenagers to Country music.
Yesterday, she demonstrated how talented and great she is by performing at the Grammy Awards with her award winning single "Mean". She was also nominated for 3 categories out of which she won 2 making her the owner of 6 Grammys at the short age of 22.
Today, is also a special day, not only because it's 13, but because today the "Safe and Sound ft. The Civil Wars" music video premiered. This song can be an example of her versatility at the time of singing different genres. Safe and Sound will be part of the highly waited Hunger Games movie.
Here are some of her videos to demonstrate how powerfull but at the same time sweet she is. I hope you fall in love with her and her music the way I did (Fefi).
By the way, I'd like you to visit the blog of one of the most outstanding Swifties i've ever met.
Foo Fighters will be joined by dance titan Deadmau5 for a performance at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 12. The ceremony, set to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, will pay tribute to electronic music.
The Foo Fighters and Deadmau5 will perform a remixed version of the Foos’ single, "Rope", on an open-air stage outside the Staples Center facility.
The Foo Fighters are nominated for Grammys in six categories this year, including Album of the Year for their acclaimed disc, "Wasting Light". That number – six – equals the number of Grammy trophies the band have taken home thus far during their career.
"It feels great to be the guy with gray hair in his beard who is still invited to these things," Foos frontman Dave Grohl told the Associated Press, in a recent interview. "Twenty years ago, I never thought I’d even have a career in music this long."
So, today we'll talk to you about one of the most outstanding and succesful DJ´s: Skillex.
Sonny John Moore aka. Skrillex known for songs such as Scary Monsters and Nice Sprits, Kill Everybody and Rock N´ Roll (Will Take You To The Mountain) produces a genre called Dubstep -British electronic dance music characterized by drum and bass samples that give a "dark" sound-.
Skrillex started his musical career on a punk rock band at the age of 16 called From First to Last but left it some time later to pursuit a solo carer. While in the band, he worked on two projects which he used later to make himself famous since 2007.
Troughout his long solo career he has also performed and remixed songs with other artists of different genres such as Deadmau5 and Korn ; producing great singles, shows and even revolutionized music
Here are some music videos of Skrillex for you to see how great his music is. Enjoy!
This is one of the best collaborations Skrillex has with the nu-metal band Korn.
This is one of his most recent remixes of the famous song Le7els by Avicii
Much has been debated by fans about which is the best zelda game ever. Many argue that Ocarina of Timeis the best of the many installments of the franchise. Each installment has brought something fresh to the franchise. Ocarina of Time has been the one that brought the most, specially the 3D world. This game is assumed to had revolutionized gaming.
Now, another game has been recently released : Skyward SwordThis installment is the second on Wii and it is so good that now people think it is the best game. We may agree with that because the motion controls fit the game perfectly. The story may not be entirely new but it is pretty good and appelaing because it tells about the beginning of Hyrule, the setting of the game.
In addition to story and controls, Skyward Sword has an excellent design due to that each area offers great amount of content and the bosses are really awesome. If the level of difficulty is not enough to you, it can be increased in the secong playthrough of this game. The artwork is great and it is excellent for Wii hardware capacity. Also, do not make me talk about the music because it speaks for itself with its orchestrated composition. (The game also brings you a soundtrack.) The game is great for everyone who plays it. Although, you may not enjoy if you are not athlectic. (Again, I'm half-kidding). Now, if you need a more expert opinion see this by IGN:
Yeah, a 10 score. You watched correctly. So it is a great deal. So if you are not really into Nintendo, you will be wanting more with this game. The game gives you a great a flavor during and after you play it.
No, not pie flavor....
Hey everyone
So can you can ask: "Why do you have a mouse on the background?"
Well he is Deadmau5. If this does not mean nothing you and you are like "Who the hell is Deadmau5?", step up and scroll down.
That mouse-headed guy is one of the best music producers in the world. You could call him a DJ but he doesn't like this term and so he kill you if you do so. I'm half-kidding. Still he surely makes great mixes.
The name "deadmau5" originated when Zimmerman claimed to have found a dead mouse in his computer while replacing his video card. He discussed this with chat room users and became known as "that dead mouse guy." The nickname "Dead Mouse" was too long for the IRC character limit, and was then shortened to deadmau5.
His mixes are widely used everywhere even if you don't know it is Deadmau5 song. He may not be mainstream and still he does a great job.
Now, how famous is this guy? Enough to present a mobile phone on London.
